It would be good to know what this car looks like.
In 1966 my cousin was driving us to work one morning in his Dauphine in Melbourne traffic. The car in front stopped quickly, my cousin stopped, the Vauxhall behind didn't. The Dauphine was written off and we both suffered from whiplash. A sad story!
Left hand drive driving in the left lane that is interesting that right hand driving is in most cases driving in the left lane.
If you want to drive a LHD Endive in this country, that's what you have to do.
@@mikeuk4130 we have left hand drive in the States and driving in the right lane in most cases unless it is a double lane or one way lanes
@@melbytvenge not sure I understand you, Melby. I can see that if this road was in the US, the French Ondine would be travelling on the other side of the single-carriageway road and the steering wheel would then be on the correct side for you. If the car was a UK car, for example, and therefore had the wheel on the right-hand side, it would be on the wrong side in the US. I also know that, in the US, you are allowed to overtake a slower vehicle on either side, if you are on a multi-lane dual-carriageway road, as long as you indicate/signal/trafficate correctly before and during the manoeuvre (sorry, French word). I wonder if that’s what you meant.
❤
One of the many distinctive and advanced design features of the DS series. But why did you put the lugs on a rag Instead of the nicely dished wheelcover, so that after you heave yourself up from squatting, you step backwards onto the rim, and send the lugs flying off into the weeds?
Nice video! That's quite a late one on an 'S' reg.
I’m hoping to enter my GT86 into Loton Park some time too. I have seen you taking yours round and it always looked great. How did it respond going round the track? My main concern is how narrow the track is. Was it a problem for you?
That Marcos sounded fantastic.
All new spare tire! Fantastic!
Very good that you have a wooden plate under the stand!
Important to loosen the wheel nuts first!
great stuff, You should have a trip up to Harewood this year..
Hello, nice car but vidéo to much short ! Have nice drive. Bye from Paris.
Hello ,Love the wooden frame! Would you be willing to share the demissions of the wooden frame? Thank you.
Hi, Sorry, it was so long ago now that I have forgotten. Good luck. Bob
I used to have a 1963 DS and only had to change a flat on it once. Fortunately I had an owner's manual that explained the procedure. People in the neighborhood were watching this and laughing a bit but also seemed interested!
👄👌✨
Car looks like an exercise in “how to copy a Swift without copying a Swift”.
Battery terminals are supposed to be covered if you want it to pass Annual Tech.
